Glaze Options

If you are ordering plates or bowls, for the inside you will need to choose either buttercup, glossy white, sage, sky, creamsicle, pomegranate, mustard, matte white, coral, avocado, lilac, cornflower, cornsilk, or melon (the outside of bowls can be another color, if you so choose). These glazes work well for plates and bowl interiors because they do not get marked by cutlery (with the exception of matte white, which does show cutlery marks). They also work great for exteriors as well.

Matte Glazes: These can be applied to the outside of just about anything, as well as the inside of mugs / non-cutlery objects since they are easily scratched by cutlery. In the picture to the right, you’ll see them on the plates, but since these are meant to be dessert plates, cutlery isn’t a concern. The matte glazes can also be used on resist patterns, like the rainbow cups below, pictured in cherry blossom.

Porcelain Clay & Glazes

As you can see, I mostly use speckled clay, but sometimes I use porcelain and just love these two glaze options. At left, warm peach, and right, cool peach.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for ways in which I can improve the ease of choosing colors. Website design is a newer skill that I’ve added to my portfolio, so I’m always open to feedback. Thanks for being here!

Lastly, it’s worth noting that two glazes can be combined on one single piece, as seen in the following images.
